Winter Shelter for Our Pastured Pigs + Bonus Day This Week!

Keeping our pastured pigs warm

Farming takes hard work year-round, and one of the winter challenges is keeping animals warm. Jonathan has been building winter shelters for our pastured/forested pigs, with plenty of deep bedding to keep them warm.

Bonus hours

We'll be open Wednesday this week (10am - 5pm) along with our normal hours, but closed on Friday, December 25th. We will also be open every Wednesday this month!

Pre-orders appreciated!

While pre-ordering is not required, we'd love it if you could order ahead, and send us your orders Monday or Tuesday!

Remember that you can choose curbside pickup on the order form, and we'll pop your order straight into your trunk — easy-peasy.

We’ve also added several box options to the order form. Get special pricing on our convenient boxes of grass-fed beef and pastured chicken.

This week’s produce includes:

  • Beets

  • Blueberries (frozen)

  • Cabbage (both Green and Napa)

  • Carrots

  • Fresh Herbs

  • Onions

  • Peppers (special varieties: sweet & hot)

  • Pie Pumpkins

  • Potatoes (Fingerling, Red Pontiacs)

  • Squash (Acorn, Butternut, Mini Butternut, Delicata, Hubbard, Spaghetti Squash)

  • Sweet Potatoes

  • Swiss Chard

  • and more!

As always, our produce is GMO-free and grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides — and we make sure it stays that way, even for crops that are tricky to grow naturally! 

Meat Availability

This week’s options (while supplies last) include:

  • Beef Savory (low and slow) Steaks: Swiss, Cubed, Round, Eye of Round, Top, and Bottom

  • Beef Roast/Bone Options: Short Ribs, Shank Bones, Stew Meat, Soup Bones

  • Beef Ground and Patties (3 or 4/pkg)

  • Pork: Limited supply of Sausage including Italian, Brat, Cajun, and Breakfast from butcher's organic spice blends and some specialty from Teeny Tiny Spice organic blends such as Oaxacan Adobo. Limited supply of Pork Boston Butt Roasts, Chops (thick and thin), Sirloin Chops, Shoulder Steaks and other cuts: Neck Bones, Soup Bones, Organ Meats, Back Fat, Smoked Ham Hocks, and a very limited supply of Pork Belly and Jowl Bacon (only able to offer 1 per purchase).

  • Lamb: Meaty Shanks, Rib & Loin Chops, Stew Meat, Ground, Patties, Organ Meats, Soup Bones

  • Goat: Shoulder (including blade and arm), Leg Chops (including sirloin), Ground, Soup Bones

  • Chicken: Whole, Cut-ups, Ground, Soup Bones (necks, backs, feet), and Organ Meats (Gizzards, Liver, Heart)

  • Turkey: Limited Supply of Drumsticks, Wings, Ground, Necks, Gizzards, Hearts, Livers, and Feet. Due to an unprecedented demand for turkey this year, we are unable to offer additional turkeys for the rest of the season. We, like all small farmers, are doing our best to plan for 2021. If a pork ham would help fill that space, please make sure to order ahead. We may have a limited supply of hams this month.
