Our grass-fed beef is humanely and naturally raised at our small family farm in Kouts, without the use of hormones or antibiotics, and packaged by trusted local butchers. From time to time we also offer meat from other small farms who follow the same standards.
Our cattle enjoy a natural diet of grasses, just as nature intended. We move them regularly to fresh pasture, which we manage carefully to maintain the health of the land and livestock, and to provide high nutrient density.
According to the Mayo Clinic, grass-fed beef may have less total fat; more heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids; more antioxidant vitamins; and more conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) — a type of fat that’s thought to reduce risk for heart disease and cancer.
