As we move into the final month of summer, weâve been reflecting on our garden beds and the fields and orchards of our partner farms that have nourished us all season long. đ From this summerâs rainbow of produce to the true farmerâs market experience that weâre able to offer at the store year-round, this abundance is something weâre deeply proud to share with you.
For those whoâve been with us for a while, you may remember when we sold at the Chesterton European Market before moving primarily to the convenience of our brick-and-mortar store about ten or so years ago.
None of it would be possible without you, our community who believes in supporting small farmers and producers. đ Farming is full of long, arduous days, but the reward of growing beautiful, nourishing food keeps us returning to the land season after season. Thereâs nothing quite like communing with the elements â farming not only fills our tables, it grounds us, helps us work through stress, and offers a sense of belonging.

As always, our produce is GMO-free and grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides â and we make sure it stays that way, even for crops that are tricky to grow naturally!
Dairy & Eggs
This weekâs options include:
Grass-fed, organic, non-homogenized, low heat pasteurized milk (A1/A2 this week), butter, buttermilk, cheese (cottage cheese, Parmigiano Reggiano, and GGC sharp cheddar), French dip, kefir (plain and vanilla), sour cream, and yogurt (plain and vanilla). Note: the 16 oz whipping cream was discontinued. We hope to have the 24 oz available this week as well as a 24 oz half-n-half (pre-ordering is helpful).
Chicken and Duck eggs this week! Our eggs are hand harvested and cleaned. Our chickens are raised on not simply organic but also a soy free grain mix along with their free range diet. There really is nothing like the consistency and flavor of these delectable treats from heritage breeds . . . we bring out the connoisseurs!
